February 3, 20197 yr I was thinking of buying Terramaxx from maxx-xp or xAmbience by HighSkyTech. In VR FPS is a big concern. I ran into free Winter Texture and quality turned out to be good and very little fps impact. Here is a comparison video with default X-Plane. I can now feel Polar vortex!
