Using AS16 and have loaded flightplan etc,  set it to create and download wx file in p3d in the PMDG settings, the file appears in the WX folder in the PMDG 777 main folder.

However it displays weather forecast uplink available in the FMC but when I press the request button it just says request sent and nothing loads.

Anyone able to help with this.

Try setting your sim and AS2016 up as described in Tutorial #1.5:

...then report back and let us know if it works. Also, do keep in mind that the function is programmed to have a realistic delay. It will not immediately return a response.

I am going to try this too as having the same issue, when I press WIND DATA, the line beneath says SentREQUEST...but nothing,

So I have my FMC settings correct and my ASN settings correct, I can see the weather file my Prepar3D V4.1 

D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\PMDG\WX, OMDBEGPF.wx

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Hifi\AS_P3Dv4\Weather activeflightplanwx.txt.

But when I go to LEGS, RTE Data RSK 6 WIND DATA - immediately below this is says SENTREQUEST - if I press the LSK again nothing happens after a six hour flight and the message SENTREQUEST remains but nothing ever seems to be updated.  The message also does not disappear, almost like it is stuck.

Any ideas would be very welcome.

Having just loaded the flight plan per the tutorial 1.5. now my wind works, finger trouble.
