February 12, 20179 yr Yeah, I'm a bit late to the party, thanks to a hardware failure three days before the Queen's release... But finally I've everything set up and running again here -- which means I'm finally flying the Queen... Needless to say, I'm in awe. These are some screenshots from the last flight I did -- a fictional cargo flight from LSGG to EGNX, in Cargolux livery (I'm a big fan of this livery to be honest ). Using FSX SP2, FSDT's Geneva, UK2000's EGNX, Orbx England. Weather provided by ASN. Just before taxi. Sun hasn't shown up yet. Taxi... A few moments after take-off (climbing like a rocket...). Going through a lot of clouds. Weather is great in Europe these days... Finally we can actually see the sky! The Queen. Flying with the sun behind us -- which means it will take a while until we see the day... Yep. Weather is great down there. The Queen (seriously, no more words needed). The sun rises... Descent. Ckean skies above us. Not for long... ...at all. Weather isn't exactly great in East Midlands too. Approach procedure. Gear down, flaps 30, light rain. Short final... (felt the 747 is actually easier to land than the 777 / 737...). Taxing to the cargo area of EGNX. It's very funny to see everyone from up above... ...and now central UK has some more PMDG crates to deal with. (By the way: I'm in love with these ground support equipments. I never had an addon for this. Really hope this awesome feature rolls back to the 777F in the future!). That's it, folks. Sorry for any operational mistakes. I was so eager to fly the 747 I didn't even read the tutorial... (don't tell anyone  ). And sorry for spelling or grammar mistakes. Best regards! Gabriel J. T. February 12, 20179 yr Nice set of shots, and sounds a good fun route too; think I'll try it myself. Great plane, I've not flown anything else since release day. Cheers! Stu Bevis PC: i5 8600K @ 5.0GHz, Asus Maximus X Hero, Corsair 16GB @ 3200MHz, EVGA GTX970SC
February 12, 20179 yr Great pictorial for the Queen Gabriel. "'That's it, folks. Sorry for any operational mistakes. I was so eager to fly the 747 I didn't even read the tutorial... February 12, 20179 yr I was so eager to fly the 747 I didn't even read the tutorial... (don't tell anyone  ). So... did the plane throw any warning messages at you? Did it set on fire? Did ATC go into apoplexy? If not then I guess you must have flown her somewhat correctly. Amazing set of shots sir! February 13, 20179 yr Author Nice set of shots, and sounds a good fun route too; think I'll try it myself. Great plane, I've not flown anything else since release day. Cheers! It is! East Midlands is a big cargo hub in Europe, which is funny, because the airport itself isn't huge. This route is fictitious, but I know EGNX has already saw a Cargolux 747 in the past. That was enough for me to try flying the Queen there. Thanks! Absolutely MAGNIFICENT shots!!! Thank you very much! Great pictorial for the Queen Gabriel. "'That's it, folks. Sorry for any operational mistakes. I was so eager to fly the 747 I didn't even read the tutorial... (don't tell anyone  )." Me too. I couldn't to fly this one, but I'm doing the tutorials now. Bill I guess I'll follow the tutorial in my next flight. There's still some things that surely I'm doing wrong... Dealing with hydraulics in pre-flight, for instance... Great shots. nebojsa Thanks! So... did the plane throw any warning messages at you? Did it set on fire? Did ATC go into apoplexy? If not then I guess you must have flown her somewhat correctly. Amazing set of shots sir! Incredibly enough, I didn't even see that "FUEL TANK/ENG" message that so many people saw... I guess the experience with the NGX and the 777 helped me a lot after all, haha... Thank you very much! @HLJames Thanks, James! @TheDualPropeller Many thanks! @pugilist2 Thanks! So many years of tweaking and I'm still not that satisfied, haha... @efis007 Thank you very much! (Sorry! I wanted to properly quote everyone, but I've reached the max number of quotes, it seems...).
