VFX Central update at launch fails

Hi,

 

I just downloaded VFX Central, Installed it and started it.

 

The first thing it does seems to do an update. So it downloads some data and tries to update, but it fails because WIndows says via a popup window:

 

"Copy Error. The process cannot access to file "...VFXCentral.exe" because it is being used by another process."

 

And VFXCentral closes.

 

Every launch, same behaviour.

 

So, what to do? I am with W7 ultimate and have FSX and P3D V3.4.

It is Ok now. I modified VFXCentral to launch as administrator and it works.

I too have the same issue. However it install, runs and updates on my non Flight Sim PC but won't update even run as administrator.

 

Three solutions I think:

 

1. Someone help me to fix it.

 

2. Give me an installable file for the product I bought i.e. Precipit.

 

3. Give me a refund.

 

Not happy at all.
