Most realistic cessna 152?

Featured Replies

Hey guys i hope i posted this in the right spot, but could any of you guys give me a link where i can get the most realistic 152 that is freeware? Thanks , i appreciate it.Trevor

Hi Trevor,I know you asked about freewares. But the only 152 I really own and fly is the one from Flight one. And I can tell you as someone who did his whole private pilot training in a C152 that it's pretty good. I also own the F1 172. It's definitely good looking but to me it doesn't fly like the real thing. (I have 20+ hours in a 2005 C172) It has problems in flap lift & drag and stall & spin. The 152 is a much better job. I used it a lot to practice for my training and it at least save me 5 - 8 hours worth of real world time...which is...$400 to $560?So there you go. F1 152 would be my recommendation.Jason Zhang

I agree with the previous post. I tried all the freeware 152's I could find, but wound up paying the very low price for Flight 1's 152. I too did my training in a 152, and this one is very good!Regards

Just in case there is still any doubt about the F1 C152, I too can confirm it's closeness to the real thing. (C152:-22hrs). Can't really go wrong with this payware addon.

I Agree with everyone else here, the Flight1 C152 is top notch.

I have over 100 hours in a C152 and, I'm afraid, I'll have to join the queue that says the Flight1 aircraft is the only realistic option. There is a freeware C150 knocking about which looks nice, but handles nothing like any of the C152s (or the FA150 - a Reims built C150 Aerobat) that I have flown / been flown in. It's the only real option for a freeware 2-seat Cessna trainer, though, as the otherwise very good Carenado freeware aircraft really don't like FS2004. Unsurprising, as I think they were developed for FS2000. ;-)Ian P.

this is not freewarein fact, it is not even FS relatedhowever, this plane is a steal. This just went on the web and will likely be gone by the end of the week. I seen this plane and the owner is a great old guy who just likes to restore them as a hobby. The price will actually leave him at about an 8k loss. Why, because he spend about 8-10k every 30 months or so on his hobby. I understand this is true for folks who also restore cars - you will never get you money out of them. And no, I dont get a commisssion nor does he even know I am posting here. It is just that, man, with a couple of close freinds chiping in, this may actually be done fairly cheaply.anyways, here is the linkhttp://www.aircraftdealer.com/aircraft_for...a_150M/3260.htmgaranteed to be the most realistic 150 class available :-)

Yes Mike, I have been tempted by this route to a Cessna 150 or 152, but with my income down I have to rely on a simulation, (good in its own way) but give me the real thing any day.:-)
