PFE Help

Those of you who are having succeess with PFE can you share your options and how you plan the flights so that you get App vectors and cleared to land from the tower?

When arriving at TNCM, I never get a landing clearance, just continue your #1... Cold this be because I use the default FSX planner or that I'm not using DPs & STARs?

I think that PFE can be a wonderful ATC program if only I could understand all the settings, etc.
