It's still snowing....

Featured Replies

By equatorial account, Winter ended on March 21. By FS9 accounts, I still have snow on the ground on April 13th. I have to advance the date to April 21st to get Spring to arrive. Flowers are blooming, grass is growing, but not in FS9. Any idea how to get FS9 to adhere to the actual calendar changes of season? Thanks

Snowed where I live (Detroit) last night! I sure wish winter would end here on March 21! :-)Seriously-it must be awfully hard to determine where and when that snow line ends where and when ,when mother nature can't even decide.http://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

Yep, here in Spain also snowed last week...Winter doesn

Hi,That happened to me aswell when i was trying to fly in other countrys(in Fs2002 and Fs9).I think the best thing to do is if you connect at the start of a flight with real world wheather and once it has finished downloading you can stop the connection and it will coninue with that whether all the way through the flight.Or just start using real wheather, its more realistic for flights, and does not use up all your connection!!!Hope this helps,Jason.I

When you set the date and time if you are in spring it shows snow in the mountains and green in the valley. Other than the southern part of the US you can still have snow anytime in the spring especially at higher altitudes (mountains). I think FS9 does a decent job of showing this as best it can.
