April 13, 200422 yr Well I took the plunge for the CRJ 200 and I paid 29.95 US .I am quite disappointed with this bird for the following reasons.I own the PMDG 737NG and Eaglesoft Citation-X and the CRJ is not even in the same league.I would put it between the PMDG express Beech and the previously mentioned. The visuals are ok but the taxi lights seem to float under the nose. The FPS in all 3 modes are not smooth and the side views are horrendous they are the VC views but not well done.Clickspots are omitted on the 2D panel so you need to use the keyboard commands which become cumbersome. The manuals are really bad they only give you the basics and it took me an hour just to learn how to shut down the engines.I played with the FMC a bit and it seemed pretty much in par with PMDG but lacking holds. The only real positives were the sounds and the FDE.I would say for those of you who use the POSKY save your $$$.I just hope Eaglesoft or PMDG gets into the RJ arena soon .I only wish Wilco offered refunds because I am not a happy camper!!!!Andy
April 13, 200422 yr Andy, we all appreciate your sacrifice. ;) Someone had to do it and ya stepped up to the plate like a real trooper. All our concerns seem to have been validated in your evaluation. Thanks for your efforts, especially knowing their refund policy before y'all bought it.-------------------Racartronit means something, but I just can't remember what
April 13, 200422 yr it seems we have to wait until Aerosoft releases their CRJ in June. It is made by the Eurowings and Katana guys. It looks extremely promising so far.Cheers,Michael
April 13, 200422 yr I happen to love the FT CRJ.Guess you can't please everyone. :) Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
April 13, 200422 yr Might have something to do with the monster system you're running it on. Hard to spot the difference when your framerates go from 60 to 45... From 20 to 12 is a different story...P.
