Talking of complexity I had an engine fire on take-off at Paro. Not the best place in the world for that sort of thing!!!!!

suggested flight? Take it up to max operating ceiling initiate a depressurisation and see if you can handle it without blacking out!!

I have noticed a number of downloads from 1 onwards. That set me thinking on a possible repackaging. We'll see!

But for the meantime a tip for those who have downloaded from 1 onwards:-

1. Download no.1 and copy the files according to instructions

2. Do the same for each consecutive download

3. Keep aside each set of documentation and read through them chronologically. This should bring you up to speed with no.4 as in many ways it differs from the previous downloads.

 

In this project I have endeavoured to bring the model closer to the checklists and flight manuel. And thus to simulate more closely the operating of this Silent(not from the outside :smile: ) Swift Superb aeroplane!

There is still lots to do. The FE's station is waiting to be fully modelled.

So far I've been practicing with the VC-10 and your panel over St Petersburg and around Sofia:

As I get better aquainted with the panel and procedures will definitely practice operating at Paro. Already done some Takeoffs and Landings at El Alto (SLLP) - Elevation 13,000 ft! The hardest places I know of to practice landings in fs9 are at Paro, Tivat and Kai Tak (Rnw 13) and I mean to visit all of them in the VC-10 too!

I pity the poor souls trying to sleep in St. Petersburg and Sofia!!!! :-)

La Paz is easy peasy in the Super at 335,000lbs auw "As long as I go for MUS" and climb out initially at 500fpm

The best technique for the VC10 at Paro is when over the airport to hang "all" the washing out and fly the turn 10-015kts above stall maintaing the correct decent profile. It's not easy in the sim due to the lack of perspective.

They love the plane and the sounds! Also I try to practice at humane hours :biggrin:

Generally they're used to my 'shenanigans' as I've practiced in the Tu-154 there often!
