December 25, 200322 yr Question 1:Can anyone tell me why i get the overspeed warning at 360kts, FL240? Question 2:how do I fix it?
December 25, 200322 yr 1] yes, slow down! If you are using one of the default aircraft, select the SPD to about 300-320. Wild guess but that should keep you within range. 2] Again, depending on what aircraft you are flying. Engage the speed on the autopilot...[h4]Best Wishes,Randy J. December 25, 200322 yr You don't need to fix this as this is what happens in the real world using "indicated airspeed". As you go higher, your indicated airspeed maximums will drop...but if you will notice your ground speed and/or true airspeed will increase. This is one reason to switch to your mach numbers for speed indication...as these show a true picture as to what is happening with your speed.Harry
December 25, 200322 yr Hi cednsi, welcome. What Randy and Harry did not tell you was how to select the Indicated Airspeed option. Go to the Realism selection under the Aircraft menu and change True Airspeed to Indicated Airspeed. R-
