VFR Photographic Scenery E&SE England.

Featured Replies

Hi, I've just recently purchased a new PC and find that I am unable to download my CD copy of VFR scenery using FS9. Although it states thar it is an upgrade for FS2002/2004, it workd perfectly well with FS9 on my previous PC. I download it to FS9 and it appears on the main program list as ok. Not so, it does not appear as additional scenery in FS9. At one attempt it actually did show, but it stated that SE of England was excluded. It wasn't and the East of England didn't work anyway! My new PC is powerful enough to work FSX, so its not that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Martyu

Did you add/browse for the scenery using the scenery library menu in FS9? If you did, then you should have found 3 folders containing the VFR scenery, and an 'excludes' folder....just add these into your scenery library and they will show up.I've recently installed them into FSX but had to install the scenery into a dummy FS2002 folder (as I have the earlier version CD's), and browsed for the folders from the scenery library, installed, and everything works fine...I didn't include the 'excludes' folder in to FSX and so I still have the special custom autogen buildings...not sure the same will apply with FS9.
