The city of Cleveland is right in the middle of this "white zone", and gets dumped on every year. Needless to say, their "snow warriors" have airport snow removal down to a science.[/p]For this event, we'll be praying to the weather gods for big lake effect snow storm. If our wishes are granted, you can expect: Low visibility and ceilings, icing, missed approaches, snow removal delays, taxiing to the de-ice pad, and diverting to alternates if you can't make it in (all pilots check the terminal forecasts to see if an alternate is needed, don't they? :-).[/p]For charts, routes and sign-up, go to our web page at: [a href=http://events.zobartcc.org/lake_effect/]http://events.zobartcc.org/lake_effect/[/a] .
