Problem: Where is the FS2Crew Config Manager to enable FS2Crew?

Solution: 

Unlike other FS2Crew's, this version of FS2Crew does not use a stand-alone Config Manager.  You need to "enable" FS2Crew via the 787's LEFT FMC, not the right one.

This is how the FS2Crew entries get added to the 787's panel.cfg file.

After you've done that, you need to shutdown FSX/ P3D, then re-load FSX/P3D for the changes to take effect.

This procedure is documented in the manuals!
If it doesn't work, you probably have a write permission issue.  See the section further down on how to manually add the FS2Crew entries to your panel.cfg file.

***USE THE LEFT (CAPTAIN'S SIDE) FMC ONLY TO ENABLE FS2CREW***

Problem: The FS2Crew FO is not controlling the aircraft or Electronic Checklist properly.

Solution: 

You must have Service Pack 3 or Later for the QW 787 installed.  SP3 was released on 20 May 2020.

Please make sure your 787 always has the latest updates from QualityWings!  

Problem: FS2Crew disappeared off my 787.

Solution: 

You may need to re-enable FS2Crew again if you changed or starting using a different panel.cfg.  Multiple different versions of the panel.cfg are available, and when you "enable" FS2Crew, only the current panel.cfg that the sim would load would be modified.

So run the "enable" process again.

Problem: How do I open the FS2Crew Main Panel?

Solution: 

Same as the other FS2Crew's!  Assign a key or joystick button to AUTOFEATHER ARM/OFF in the P3D/FSX controls menu.  We recommend the N key.

Problem: My frames rates have dropped!

Solution: 

It's not FS2Crew!  It appears to be an issue with the QW 787's Navigraph Charts.

Problem: The FO is ticking the ECL incorrectly.

Solution: 

Don't move your mouse around the cockpit while the FO is running the checklist.  It can mess up the ECL (note the purple bar over the checklist item when you mouse over it... the ECL is 'mouse sensitive').


Problem: How to add FS2Crew manually to the Panel.cfg file:

Solution:

Please add the following entries to the "800" model panel.cfg file.  

These entries are for P3D V4 and V5 only.  They will not work in FSX.

You can open it in Notepad.  The file should be located here:

SimObjects\Airplanes\QualityWings 787-8\panel\panel.cfg

***In [Window Titles] add this... make sure the Window Numbers are in sequence.

Is there a voice command available for having the Copilot select Speed Intervene for controlling the speed (IAS) on the MCP and if so what is it?

I looked in the 787 FS2Crew manuals both installed with the product and online but could not see anything.

According to the FS2Crew manual/tutorial for the QW787 for the Before Taxi Checklist after the flight controls check the FO asks about ground equipment and the PF is supposed to respond with "Removed" or "Clear" but I find there is no response to "Removed" and only saying "Clear" works in order to complete this specific checklist.

Can you confirm that "Removed" is not an expected response or if this is a small bug?

for some reason the FO is not operating the ECL. i have not changed anything and it was working fine..

he does clicks buttons on the overhead and lower flaps down but he will not open the checklist and even if i open it he is not ticking anything. however he is closing it

tried reinstalling both (cleaned all files)

any solution to this problem?

with the newest version of the QW787 and FS2Crew in P3Dv5, I always get a call "check your flaps" when trying to do the landing checklist, even though the flaps already are at 30.

I'm trying to use FS2Crew with button control in my QW787. My problem is, that I can't find clear instructions when to use the main button and when to use the secondary button. I went through the tutorials now for the 3rd time and gave it up after messing up the sequence. This time when at t+30 the FA asked me if ready to start boarding and I pressed the main button to find myself in the before start procedure. I had no chance to know that the secondary button was the right one...

Reading from some other posts, I understand it should be possible to actually access the loadsheet, when it’s delivered during ‘preflight events’. How is this actually done? Both via in-person delivery or ACARS? How do I ‘get to it’?

• New Config Option for VATSIM users: "ON-LINE ATC XPONDER".  Set it to YES if using VATSIM.  When set to Yes, the FO will turn on the transponder during the BEFORE START FLOW.  After Landing, he will leave the transponder on.  
• Button control: Flaps 15 was missing during the approach.  It has now been added to the sequence.  Gear down and Flaps 20 commands are now combined into a single command in Button Control.
• Voice control:  For the autobrake challenge in the Descent Checklist, do not speak "Level" for the autobrake setting.  Just say the value.  Example: "Three".
• When FO presses buttons on the overhead, button sounds will now play.
• Checklist modified slightly to make them more Boeing standard.  A few items are now automatically responded to by the FO since they fall under his area of responsibility.  
• Tutorial and Main Ops Manuals updated to account for all changes above.  Manuals are now at V1.1.

I just (25th Oct) purchased and installed FS2Crew which installed ok no issues. I loaded FSX selected QW787 and enabled FS2Crew and saved the config however, when I exited FSX it encountered an "unexpected error" and restarted nothing was saved. Tried it a few times enabling and disabling FS2Crew in the config menu and same issue.

I decided to try something else.

• Ran FSX and selected QW787 this time I said "NO" to run "FS2Crew787QW32.GAU" and the FSX exited normally (didn't crash), obviously FS2Crew didn't run and nothing got saved. I tried a few variations and everything seems to point back to the .GAU not execution properly. i guess on exit it's trying to do something (maybe saving settings) and failing thus causing FSX to abort.

A couple of key points to assist in trying to determine the issue..

• I am running the latest QW 787 update 1.3.1
• MS FSX
• Windows 7 Pro (64bit)
• Standard QW787 config file all standard entries.
• I down loaded and installed the files with anti virus and firewall turned off just to make sure everything got installed properly.
• I uninstalled and reinstalled twice just to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Any information you can provide to help resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. I am totally at a lost for something that seems so trivial.

Hope your keeping well,just a quick idea for a future update.With the running the pre flight events the two options are domestic or international,i cant think of may 787 that are used on domestic routes.The idea is to change them to meduim haul or long haul,think it will just make it a little more realistic.

I have an issue with FS2CREW for the QW787 using voice control; the issue is that the FO won't execute any actions after the preflight checklist has been completed. All previous actions are performed fine, all my commands are being executed until I command the FO to execute the Before start procedure, from this point on the FO does not execute any actions anymore, neither any previous items like the preflight checklist. The system is however continuously picking up my voice commands perfectly (I can see commands in green bar).
It almost seems like the FO went on a walkaround between preflight checklist and before start procedure and never returns again (I have waited on several occasions for 30-45 mins but he won't "return").

I have been using FS2CREW for the QW787 happily for a few months now, never had this issue before until this has started bugging me since a week now. I tried several flights the last couple of days, without succes.
I thought it was time to ask for help here.

P.s. I have also recently updated to V1.3, just before the issue started, not sure if this can be connected.

I am using Prepar3d V4, I have just purchased the Quality wings 787 today, installed it, followed instruction, and I am unable to select it in my library, as if it was never installed.

How can I correct this?

Hope your keeping well.I am slowly transitioning to P3Dv4.5 from FSXSE and my latest purchase was the QW787.

I set up a flight from LPPT to EGLL in the 787 frame rates on the ground where between 40 and 50,opened the FS2 

crew panel and bang dropped straight down to 15 and wouldnt go any higher,closed the panel and back up to 40/50.

After turning settings etc down in P3D still no help no navigraph charts and single monitor,so i exited P3D and unticked the HD displays in the QW dispatcher.

Started P3D again same airports and opened up the panel and no frame rate drop.Just to let anyone know who may 

experience the same issue.
