	Just downloaded it. Only had time for a quick flight around the pattern.
</p>

<p>
	Installed the F1 GTN - shows up as a 2d pop-up but the panel just has a black screen
</p>

<p>
	Seems a bit heavier on frame rates than my other Carenado aircraft
</p>

<p>
	Seems somewhat over powered, but I only had 1 pilot and 50% fuel.
</p>

<p>
	Usual Carenado excellent visuals inside and out

	Does the weather radar work or is it just eye candy?  I moved all the knobs but it doesn't seem to do change the range or change the weather pattern.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I've been flying the B120 for a long time with no problems at all.  I use P3D, currently v5.4.  Recently I've had problems not in any way related to the B120, but led me to uninstall and reinstall P3D and all my addons for a fresh start.
</p>

<p>
	I fly always with a flight plan and my trusty B120 has always followed the plans faithfully, but now when I select Nav or bring up Nav Arm  on the autopilot when close to the magenta line on the GPS display, the B120 turns in the opposite direction.  It will not lock on to the GPS plan making the aircraft unusable for the way I fly.  The other aircraft I fly, also newly re-installed, behaves normally, so my problem lies with the B120.
</p>

<p>
	I hope someone can help me, for I dearly miss my favourite aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	Regards, Jim

<p>
	I'm experiencing engine failures on climb out and approach that I'm pretty sure are a result of me not flying the airplane in the proper configuration and not a system bug. Torque drops to 0 but I can still hear the prop spool up when I move the throttle.
</p>

<p>
	First was on climb out where I failed to put my condition levers to full before takeoff (lost #2, crashed on final trying to return to field on 1 engine), second time today while on final approach, condition levers at full but I forgot to start up the APU and switch the a/c to bleed air from engines 1&amp;2 (lost both and crashed short of the runway).  Is that what did it in both cases or is there something else I'm not doing right?

<p>
	This is my Carenado Embraer B120 v1.3 in P3d v4.5
</p>

<p>
	And like all aircraft I purchase I turn on P3D's content logging just to see what the dev crew left behind so to speak.
</p>

<p>
	Have worked through the majority of the gauges correcting mostly syntax errors (possibly cut and paste issues? e.g. code cut from other Carenado a/c ?)
</p>

<p>
	And also reworked the fuel cut off because in it's original form the functionality was,
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		Set prop pitch condition levers to zero.
	</li>
	<li>
		Hold the Ctrl + F2 key combo to feather the props and hold until levers move to the stop postion.
	</li>
	<li>
		Then hit the red fuel cut levers.
	</li>
</ul>
<p>
	All good except the condition levers must be right back towards the stop position to activate the red levers, which then covers said red levers making them next to impossible to click without a custom view low enough to see and click.
</p>

<p>
	With the changes I've made the functionality is,
</p>

<ul>
<li>
		Set prop pitch condition levers to zero.
	</li>
	<li>
		Use the Ctrl + F2 key combo to feather the props and hold just a touch to get the levers past the negative zero postion.
	</li>
	<li>
		There is now easy access to the fuel cut red levers and they are active.
	</li>
	<li>
		Hit the red fuel cut levers to automatically move the condition levers to almost the stop position.
	</li>
	<li>
		Use the Ctrl + F2 key combo to move the condition levers the last notch to stop the engines.
	</li>
</ul>
<p>
	Close enough to just the way I want it <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>
</p>

<p>
	ModelConverterX is needed to edit the in use interior model's code (there are a number of interior models depending on PBR, GTN etc.)<br>
	My approach is to first copy the model (so there's a backup), then import the model copy into ModelConverterX, copy out the xml into notepad++ to make changes because notepad++ is a far better text editor, then paste all the notepad++ code into the ModelConverterX xml editor overwriting all the existing code.<br>
	Export the model as the required sim type overwriting the original in use interior model (not the backup).
</p>

<p>
	Code Snips
</p>

<p>
	Seaching for "GENERAL ENG PROPELLER LEVER POSITION" will return all the code sections related to the prop control where you're looking for the Engine 1|2 shut.
</p>

<p>
	The two snips replace the same code sections in the actual code.
</p>

<p>
	   <strong>   <span style="color:#9b59b6;"><span style="font-family:'Comic Sans MS', cursive;"><em>&lt;TooltipText&gt;Engine 1 shutoff (%((L:LEVER_PROP_PITCH1_B120_SHUTOFF,bool) 0 ==)%{if}Off%{else}On%{end})&lt;/TooltipText&gt;<br>

	      (A:GENERAL ENG PROPELLER LEVER POSITION:1,percent) -0 &amp;lt;= and<br>

</p>

<p>

	      (A:GENERAL ENG PROPELLER LEVER POSITION:2,percent) -0 &amp;lt;= and<br>
	      if{</em></span></span></strong>
</p>

<p>
	I'm sure better xml coders could do better (and I'm happy to take direction), but hey it works for me <span class="ipsEmoji">🙂</span>

	Hi all,

<p>
	I'm new to this aircraft and have to say I'm really enjoying it. I wonder if anyone can help me with two quick questions:
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	1. On takeoff I'm getting a "Glide Slope" call out for 30 seconds or so. I understand why this is needed on approach but what can I do to make it go away at the start of a flight?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	2. I'm using IAS mode and CLIMB functions to ascent to ToC but notice that the aircraft doesn't level out itself when reaching the target altitude entered in the Altitude Alerter on the AP panel. I've got to press ALT manually. Is this normal or have I left something out?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Cheers

	Hi!

<p>
	Anyone who knows how the E120s condition levers are supposed to be operated through different phases of flight? I personally pull it full forward during takeoff, and lower it during climb/cruise (95 % / 90 % prop rpm) but don’t have a clue if thats realistic. Couldn’t find any info on the topic on the web (e g smartcockpit).

<p>
	Hi
</p>

<p>
	I have just bought this to use in V5, and no matter what I do or how configure it or how low I set my settings in the sim it runs at between 12 and 17 FPS. I have even disabled all my other add-ons and nothing makes any difference. I also made sure I ran the v5 patch for navigraph from the carenado website.
</p>

<p>
	Even when the aircraft is cold and dark the performance is just as bad. I have tried it with and without the f1 GTN 750....just the same. I have tried disabling the carenavigraph dll which appeared to have been causing issues for some. Still just the same.
</p>

<p>
	I've tried it with and without chaseplane….just the same. Clear skies and noi weather engine.....just the same.
</p>

<p>
	So, the aircraft seems like it loads and functions, but it really is just un-useable due to the low FPS.
</p>

<p>
	I have a 7700 non-k and a 1070 8gb and I'm getting blistering performance in v5 even with all my a2a aircraft with the RXP GNS fitted.
</p>

<p>
	Anyone else experiencing this issue with the B120, particularly in v5?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	At the moment, it is a hugely disappointing purchase and will be the last Carenado aircraft I buy if it doesn't get fixed.
</p>

<p>
	Any help would be very much appreciated.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks

	Are there any good tutorials for the autopilot and the FMC other than the cold and dark? I can't find anything other than the usual reviews. Do the autopilot fully work? I also tried to enter some info on the FMC but it doesn't look like it really works. Can you import the sim flight plans on P3Dv4? <p>
	I everybody !
</p>

<p>
	I use FSX SP2.
</p>

<p>
	On the Carenado EMB120 the landing lights and taxi lights are not visible from the cockpit, I mean they do not illuminate the ground,  but they are perfectly visible from the outside view.
</p>

<p>
	I have checked with other Carenado planes (Beech 58 Baron, Beeh C90 Kingair, ...) and everything is working right, I mean they are visible both from the outside and from the inside.
</p>

<p>
	Can anybody know what to do to remedy that ?
</p>

<p>
	Thank you to anybody who can help.
</p>
