Hi painters,

I’d love to request a repaint of the Air Corsica ATR 72-600, registration F-HXKX, for the Carenado ATR72 in FSX or Prepar3D v4.

Main Landing Gear not showing when down

Just bought ATR 72, after 3 or 4 uninstalls and reinstalls and even a new download from seller the main landing gear do not deploy down. Plane acts as if the gear is down and taxis as if down just not showing. Using FSX Accel with windows 7, never had this problem with any install before.

Loading Database in the Carenado ATR 72-500

Dear Community,

Today I bought the Carenado ATR 72-500,after the Installation as an Administrator and turning my antivirus Software off I went into the Simulator to discover the plane. After I spawned I saw an FMC Message "Loading Database" which didn't disappear. I read that I should add some lines in the Lockheed Martin AppData File with these lines:

   Launch
   dll.xml
   False
   False
Carenavigraph
False
.\Carenavigraphx64.dll

After trying that it still didn't work,then I tried to add a file from a developer,and it also didn't work. I tried many fixes but this message is still there.

May someone help me please?

Cruise level power management

Good day all

I'm a complete novice to turboprops, so please bear with me!

I couldn't find any relevant information on how to manage power once at the cruise level.

Carenado has issued a brief video in which it looks like (at least implicitly) that at the time of take-off the power management knob is put in "TO" position the condition levers at "AUTO" and the power handle advanced to the "white band" which is around 70% and then they're left there for the rest of the flight (except the knob which goes to "CLB" and then "CRZ" subsequently).

The above settings produce the figures mentioned in the video for Torque and NP during the "TO" and "climb" but at the cruise level (say FL210) the Torque won't go past 65% (while it's supposed to be ~95% according to the video) and the cruise speed is around 180-190 max. The NP is typically 82% (where it should be) at this stage.

Advancing the throttle (power lever) any further than the white band doesn't seem to do anything and I don't even know if I should be doing it as shortly after the white band it enters the "red band" which I assume is too much for normal conditions (at least implicitly, again! I don't know any better)

What am I missing here?

Can anybody please shed some light?

As as set up GNSS, from one location to the other, I can only view the distance to the next way point. Is there a way to find the total distance to the destination ? on GNSS ? As on real aircraft ?

Hello,

I have this problem:

When I start from Cold and Dark and start the engines, the hydraulic pressure goes up (photo 1) but the hydraulic pressure and electricity lights stay on (photo 2); after several minutes all the panels switch off and I have to start with action n. 5 Ready for Takeoff.
I have seen several tutorials on youtube and I follow them correctly.

Odd turning

Hi there, this is an awkward One to discribe however When In a turn the aircraft banks and begins to turn as expected however after a short time appears to fly straight but still in a bank and will then suddenly appear to yaw to make the turn. This makes it very difficult to fly not knowing when this will happen. Has anyone got any ideas?

YAW damper shortcut keys for prepar3d

I have been trying to figure out what the shortcut key for yaw damper is ? In prepar3d it shows as CTRL + D but that's not working. The only way to get it work is by clicking on it with a mouse. Autopilot with shortcut keys Z work fine.

What am I doing wrong here ?

Is Carenado AT 72 FMS better than the AT 42 one?

Looking at videos, it appears that AT 72 FMS is more complete (exemple: support airways entries instead of only waipoints)

Does it has the same problem that pilot should enter the plan as follow:

Departure

Approach

Arrival

Enroute (airways/waipoints)

to avoid unnecessary problems.

In a word, is AT 72 FMS better and if it is the case, why didn't they retrofitted it to the ATR 42

Hi,

Can someone tell me if there is a way to adjust the map range in the A72 500 and if yes "Where is the switch/dial located".

There are 2 posts on this topic. the first one just says "he found it" and that's it, the other one refers to the "Shift+2" menu or just above the throttles for the switch/dial location.

Hi,

Does anyone know if an update is planned for P3D v5. If the aircraft already works there, there is I believe some textures issues outside the aircraft (they are a bit too shiny) + the tail strobe glass cover is invisible from some angles...
