<p>
	I want to buy this plane but I notice in the description I've read that it says it uses a "Default Soundset".   I usually don't care for 3rd party aircraft that use default sounds for engines so I have two questions,
</p>

<p>
	1. What default sounds is it using in both FSX and P3Dv5?
</p>

<p>
	2. Is there any custom engine sound packs available out there?  I can't find any myself.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks

<p>
	Hi Folks,
</p>

<p>
	Glad to see Mark not resting on his laurels and moving forward on another highly anticipated project...
</p>

<p>
	I'm pretty familiar with the  texture work of the "new" company - and I'm not a total fan of a couple things... I hope Flysimware keeps their hand in on the texture process in a supervisory role... First off - if the textures are chopped the way they normally are - it makes it absolutely miserable for the people who want to paint them (LOL - Dave seems to have mastered this)  - and I do believe the availability of new paints and the paints people want to see - equates to more sales and better longevity of the model... Now I don't think I've seen any PBR textures from them - but the old standard textures really seemed to be a tad dark and dreary - even in the brightest light - I'm thinking the CJ2 here... Maybe they're better with PBR - I hope so...
</p>

<p>
	Anyway - I'm a huge fan of Wicked Bacons work and it's extremely nice to have some type of ongoing dialog with the guy doing the work - it's truly a shame some agreement couldn't have been reached between these two parties for the same work...
</p>

<p>
	As always - just my humble opinion - take it for what it's worth...
</p>

<p>
	Regards,<br />
	Scott

<p>
	I am running P3DV4.5 (latest build). Two issues: (1) My Widgeon has prop disc textures showing when the engines/props are stopped; and (2) the HSI "broken arrow" CDI yellow needle has an offset of almost one whole division (one dot) which makes navigation more interesting than it should be - it affects both NAV radio and GPS tracking. It is definitely an offset - it appears when the Nav radio is detuned (red flagged), or when the GPS CDI is exactly on track.
</p>

<p>
	Anyone have a fix for these? I'm happy to edit .xml files or .cfg files (at my own risk of course!) if needs be. I did have a hunt round for solutions but it seems its just me having this issue, which is surprising.
</p>

</p>

<p>
	There should text on the floats, but that's now impossible because of the mirrored textures. Since you're constantly updating the Widgeon, would it be possible to add a second set of unmirrored textures for the floats?
</p>

<p>
	I think there's enough space on the wings textures...

	I know the PBY Catalina is capable of lowering the gear in the water and taxiing onto land. I tried it in the G44 but the gear wouldn't lower and basically beached the aircraft.

<p>
	I know the Cat and the Goose can taxi up and down a water ramp so I assume the Widgeon will to.

	Just purchased beta 1.2  Using Store edition of MSFS
</p>

<p>
	Install proceeds to folder selection -  input filled in "F:\FS2020"  will not allow any change. Click next and get "wrong location" - unable to change - rinse and repeat.  The location F:\FS2020 is not a valid folder.
</p>

<p>
	Since many people use addon  linker to control the community folder - can you make the installer allow the option to install to any user selected folder. Personally I install very little actually into the community folder - I install elsewhere and dynamic link to CF.
</p>

<p>
	Either way, I need to find a way to install a/c.

<p>
	Good Evening Everyone,
</p>

<p>
	The exterior model of the 414AW is complete, and has returned from the texture artists. There are a number of texture issues which need to be resolved before the exterior texturing is complete, but I couldn't help sharing these with all of you.

<p>
	Good morning!  I just purchased both the MU-2 and the Widgeon this a.m. and installed both to FSX:SE.  Both installations seemed to go without problems as had the Lear 35 I purchased and installed previously.  I tried the MU-2 and it loaded fine.  The Widgeon, however, crashed the sim to the desktop every time I'd try to load it.  I started with a native aircraft at a native airport to minimize the possibility of conflicts arising from add-ons then attempted to load the Widgeon.  No dice.
</p>

<p>
	I stand ready to provide amplifying information and am grateful for any support!

<p>
	G'day all,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm trying to setup my new G-44 and so far the only hiccup is taxiing. Regardless of where the tailwheel lock sits, the best I can get the Widgeon to do is gentle right hand circles around the apron. No doubt causing much hilarity to anyone watching from the Clubhouse, but it doesn't help me get to the runway!
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I'm starting Cold and Dark and have no worries getting the engines run up or anything like that. The flight controls are working just fine with my Saitek hardware and I can fly it perfectly once it gets to the runway.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried loading the G-44 fresh or over the top of another tail-dragger but get the same results. Frustrating to say the least.
</p>

<p>
	<br />
	Cheers
</p>

	Just wondering if this will be released on 4.5 or 5.0?. I guess the same applies for the FMC on the lear also.

<p>
	Sometime around 2006/7, I had a flight from from KEWR to KSRQ and back on Continental.  We flew nonstop going down.  I think that part was an ERJ-135.  Note the missing X for Extended range or is it LR for long range?  At Newark, they asked if anyone could get off the plane for a later flight since it was full and expected more kids to be on the plane and the plane could not make the  distance due to cargo versus fuel limitations.  They then said, well, if no one wants to get off, we have to take bags off.  Ours were the lucky few that got them the next day.
</p>

<p>
	Anyhow to get back to the 402 story.  To our shock and surprise, going back to Newark, the KSRQ to KTPA portion was on a 402c.  I could see my wife cringe since she gets motion sickness very easily.  My gut wrenched (for her), but boy was I excited!  It was a single pilot with salt and pepper hair.  I think he had lived in Key West for a while.  I was thinking his parrot would  be in the co pilot seat.  We were the only two passengers on the plane!  At first when I got on, I was sitting in the last row with my wife.  He  asked if we could move up.  I moved all the way to the seat behind the co-pilot.  My wife managed to move up behind me.  He mumbled about taking this jet (!) to Tampa and to make sure our seat belts were fastened.  He also said he would turn on the air conditioning (it was near 80) and proceeded to open his window!  Once we got up higher, it did cool off and feel better.  It was awfully loud--mostly wind noise from what I remember.  I couldn't see the instruments too well, but we did stop around 5,000 or less on that nice warm VFR day. My gaze went between scenery and pilot--trying to see what he was doing.  My wife was probably sweltering and holding on for dear life.  It was a short 40 minute flight or so and soon saw the long 10,000 foot runway of which we would need a fraction of for landing.  It seemed like he kept the speed up for a fast approach and got off the runway at a somewhat quick leisurely pace.
</p>

<p>
	This flight always reminds me of passenger comfort.   The seats were awfully narrow, no aircon, and no pressurization, but a fun ride.  I've been on Cessna 208, Shorts 360, ATR 72, and Beech 1900.  The 208 was pretty tight.  The others were a little better.  They all seemed pretty noisey.
</p>

<p>
	So, with the 402, I'd guess that pilots prefer to stay at lower altitudes (8000 and lower?) with passengers so they don't get light headed?  Do they ask?  I'd think this gave rise to the pressurized (and airconditioned) ATR and Beech 1900 aka tubeliners.

	When I taxi, I am all over the place.  The controls seem very sensitive and if there's a tailwind, it's even harder to maintain centerline.  The other thing is that just increasing throttles a little makes it go at a good speed.  I find that I have to apply a little and then back off immediately.  I have four to six passengers at 80 kgs each and  about 100 kgs luggage in the nose and sometimes 50 in each wing.  Is there anything I can do?

	Hi Folks,
</p>

<p>
	Started looking around - man - I guess painting this bird is tough as I find very few paints that truly inspire me...
</p>

<p>
	Perhaps we should start accumulating the best of the best - so when deciding on textures - they have a place to start ?
</p>

<p>
	Here's the best one I've found so far (subjective):

	I installed the latest version of the 402C Businessliner this evening, into P3DV4.5.  After I choose the aircraft, P3D CTDs before it shows up on the runway.  A couple of times, the aircraft DID appear, but only for a few seconds, and then CTD again.  I do not have WX Radar installed.  Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been successful in getting this aircraft to work in P3DV.45.  Pete

	I just bought the 402 and downloaded the cape air livery from the flysimware website. I've installed it per the instructions, but it does not show up. I'm using p3d v4.2 with the flight1 gtn. Have any of you had issues installing liveries with v4.2?

<p>
	Hi guys,
</p>

<p>
	Just updated my C402 to v2.4 and added my CapeAir livery to do some KBOS/KACK runs!  One thing I noticed is that when adjusting prop RPM, even very minor adjustments, I get some pretty immediate speed changes and noticeable pitch oscillations.  I didn't notice that with v2.3.  Any thoughts?  Great otherwise!  Can't wait for REX/Milviz to update the radar for P3Dv4.2.
</p>

<p>
	Thanks,
</p>

	I'm trying to add a switch to change the pitch when changing altitude with the AP on.  I can't find anything in fsuipc.  And I've looked at all the cab files and can't find anything to do with ap pitch.  Any one know what the code is for the pitch?
