I have been flying this D18 for a couple of months now and I find it a very impressive product. I am just curious though - was this developed by Carenado themselves or Alabeo? I ask because the D18 seems quite the step up from other Carenado aircraft I have purchased in the past and the cockpit interior "artwork" and texture quality, the satin paintwork and the way it reflects its texture in the light seems to be similar in quality to Alabeo products I have seen. Furthermore I believe the version made for MSFS (I am running P3D) was attributed to Alabeo.

If this is indeed an Alabeo product I would be very keen to risk the cash on one or two of their other products.

I have noticed that the characters on the D18 GPS display don't display using the same font with anti-aliasing that I see in the stock P3D GPS or the map function, for instance. Is there some way to change this or is it effectively hard coded? I would just like for things like the airport codes to appear in the same type of font as they do on the map or stock P3D GPS.

I just started flying the 18 on FSEconomy. First thing I noticed is that the fuel tank configuration doesn't match. I copied over the correct configuration from a freeware aircraft config file so that it matches. This change makes the fuel tank selector almost useless as Carenado's config doesn't include a "center tank" which I can only assume is the nose tank in the RW aircraft. I've looked at all the change posts made here over the last two years or so and am a bit confused as to which changes are are best made to the aircraft.cfg file. Be interested in knowing what seems to be the best edits for use with FSEconomy

I have a problem. How can I solve the problem with some Carenado aircraft D18, Beechkraft and some others, e.g. with the mouse to set the HDG, also the Alt button and others are difficult to set up there. With some you have to press it first and then they turn slightly and e.g. the PMDG models or the ones already available in the simulator cause no problems at all. How do I get the problem plane back into the air? Is it a bug or is there a trick to turn the switches (right or left click of course everything tested)

	Good evening gentlemen,

a question I found no unique answer for: How high I can fly with the Beech D18S?

Wiki and other sources say „Service ceiling“ 21000 feet or similar.

But: Is the old Lady pressurized so that I can fly that high?

	Thanks.

For those of you wanting smoke like Matt Younkin, here are the coordinates. Just copy this "SMOKESYSTEM" to your aircraft.cfg and replace RASDecath_SmokeWhite.fx with whatever aircraft's smoke that you already have installed that you really like. As you know, to operate the smoke use the stand "I" button on the keyboard or whatever key you have assigned to smoke effects.

Im at a loss...especially where it says to change the 45 to a 180 in the contact points..ive narrowed it down but still unsure which value needs to be changed. Im not worried so much about the actual model animation, just want it to behave like a true beech which is steered with diff braking and power changes. any help is GREATLY appreciated!!

To get the update you have to log in to your Carenado account and download the new installer.

Be sure to save out your sound folder if you're using Shupe's and any files you've tweaked and then move or delete the original install.

You'll need your email address and purchase key, both available on your account page.

Lots of little fixes, the most obvious being the fuel pressure lights and mag switches that seem to work now.

The airframe (skins), panel and interior on this aircraft are awesome, to be sure, but with hundreds of hours in a real Twin Beech, I'm very disappointed in the sound and the way it handles. Is it possible I've installed something incorrectly (FSX Accel)?

The sound is more like flat-6s (Aero Commander) than radials, and the roll rate and pitch feel like a much smaller, lighter aircraft. Watch the yoke and roll rate during Matt's performance in a very light Beech 18 at Oshkosh, and you'll see what I mean, our roll rate is much faster
