<p>
	As some of you know I have been away for several years dealing with some family health issues.  Those issues remain, but I am finally able to spend a minimum amount of time on some mods.
</p>

<p>
	The link below is for a very simple mod to fix the panel lighting issues with the 310.  It separates the dome light from the instrument lights.  I know it has been a couple of years since this was a hot topic, but it was easy.  Maybe some of you are still flying it.
</p>

<p>
	Hopefully the link will work.  I just recently got around to installing WIN 10 and I'm not yet very comfortable with it.
</p>

<p>
	Regards, Bill

<p>
	Hi all,
</p>

<p>
	I love this bird. My only complaint is at night I cant get ALL the panel gauges to illuminate without having the overhead whole cabin light on!  Aaarghh! Hey it's great for reading charts etc. but really distracts from night flying and especially approaches. (I'm using FSX)
</p>

<p>
	Any panel / lighting geniuses her have a work around. Thanks to Bert and a few others here I've had some success modifying a few windows and VCpanels but I haven't solved this one..

<p>
	Thanks in advance

<p>
	Im struggling with the Alabeo C310R autopilot. Im unable to get it to couple to nav mode. It dosent matter if its on GPS or VOR mode. The only modes that im able to get it right its with the Alt hold, and the pitch hold mode. Im looking forward to look some tips on how to make this AP work, or im open to made a gauge change and add the Bendix AP of the default C172.

<p>
	Of all one hundred aircraft I have when I push cowl flaps OPEN on my ELITE AVIONICS PANEL they open, and when I push close they close. Here they are marked backwards. Pulling out it says is CLOSED thus pushing in must be open.
</p>

<p>
	The reason I suspect in my first 5 minutes of flying this aircraft along with noticing the Marker switch controls the ADF on the audio is, when I operate the cowl flaps as is labeled, pulling out which is labeled CLOSED should heat up the cylinders causing the qauge to increase in temperature. However it goes down in temperature. Vice versus in pushing in the cowl flaps which on the aircraft to there labeling would be " OPEN"  but the gauge increases noting that perhaps it is closed as most aircraft.
</p>

<p>
	To simplify in all the dozens of my other aircraft out is OPEN and IN is CLOSED and the cylinder guage APPEARS to be operating as such.. THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST 5 MINUTES of flying this aircraft and perhaps I am wrong.
</p>

<p>
	Now to throw in a compliment. I love the reflections in the quages that I think for a year or two you have been using them. It makes the A2a gauges seem like cartoons. Not to bag on A2a but your standard just makes it hard to look at DRAWING gauges. And the fluid movement reminds of PROJECT MAGENTA years ago when I first saw there gauges operate I was using FS9 and FSX did not exist. Very hard flying with such rigidity for so many years. A2a is not anywhere to this standard as I can see. I love my a2a aircraft but these are true statements. This is why I think flying IFR is so much easier in the Alabeo -Carenado aircraft is the qauges.   Thanks Keith

<p>
	I know the C310 has been out for some time, but it is new to me, and I want to congratulate Alabeo on an excellent simulation. It is spot on as far as performance is concerned.<br />
	I flew a route from KICT to KIKV (my home base) and using real world charts from a 310R manual, I determined a flight time of 1:43, and a fuel burn of 53 gallons. The charts also showed a TAS of 188K and a fuel flow of 30gph.<br />
	My flight took exactly 1:43, and the total fuel used was 51 gallons. During cruise my TAS was 188K and my fuel flow was 31gph. In my opinion, it doesn't get any better, or real, than that!

	After fooling about with small Carebeo Jets - Premier , Phenom etc. and wrestling with FMS and Proline 21 I've taken a break from that frustration. I climbed back into the 310R. I revisited proper start from cold and dark. (can't check for over 300 rpm drop when at 1700 run up as when you cut the magnetos in the Alabeo it kills the engine) and... been flying the 310 with VOR DME NDB and "trying " to leave the GTN750 minimized and only for radios and NAV freq's
</p>

<p>
	Going back to VOR approaches , procedure turns and old school pilotage. It's a lot more work than following a magenta line. Fun work.
</p>

<p>
	I'm finding as I get older, like most hobbies and passions, we tend to "buy" into gadgetry for ease of use. For my other passions getting a trigger job done on a new acquired firearm or buying the newest high-tech  drum heads for my drums to get that "perfect" sound..Flightsimming is the same and sometimes It's good to strip things down to just perfecting the basic skills. Learn how to become proficient with simple , basic tools offers new appreciation.

	Hi Folks,
</p>

<p>
	OK - she is a sexy beast - looking for comments comparing the flight dynamics of this aircraft - to my favorite light twin in FS - the MilViz C310 (<strong>a Bernt Stolle masterpiece</strong>)... Obviously - this one is winning on the visuals and my MilViz version has been down hard in need of patches for a long time... Here's hoping they might be in the same neighborhood with FDE's...

<p>
	Any input appreciated...

	great aircraft the panel is way more enjoyable &amp; typical "carenado" than the Milviz. My only complaint is that cartoonish looking panel background on the milvix..

<p>
	 BUT..... The using Alabeo's 400B autopilot in conjunction with a GTN750 is very weird and clunky. I'm hoping we can simply use another AP from another Carenado to replace????

<p>
	So I bought the C310 II.
</p>

<p>
	It was my mistake looking at the Aerosoft site and seeing P3D 3.4 (and Above) ready, thinking above meant v4.
</p>

<p>
	I still don't know what the word "above" is actually meaning in the sales description.
</p>

<p>
	So I've been looking daily for over a month now waiting patiently for the day I can fly this plane.
</p>

<p>
	So I noticed Carenado have updated their version of the c310 II now to v4.
</p>

<p>
	Can we have finally some news on progress to V4 from Alabeo?

<p>
	I just bought the C310R at Aerosoft  as it said in the information page that it was p3d3.4 or higher ready.So v4 is higher so I imagined it would work.
</p>

<p>
	The exterior of the plane looks fine.But inside the cockpit it's a texture mess.Wings are invisible and the floor is non existent as well as many parts of the cockpit panels.
</p>

<p>
	If it's not ready for v4 then that makes sense it's looking the way it does.
</p>

<p>
	Disappointed I can't fly it but would you have a rough idea when an update would become available for v4.It's such a tease to look at that planes exterior and not be able to fly it.
</p>
