Hi, i do quite like this plane so far. Although buyer experience could be much better, if the manuals were only slightly as good as the texture work.

Having said that here is my question. In my P3D v3 i am not to tune ADF frequencies properly.

The hundreds dial works fine.

The tenths dial only works for the third digit. So there is no way to change from 280,0 to 290 etc.

Does anybody have the same problem or found a way to do this?

	Hello,

I`ve installed the Carenado 228 for Prepar3D V4 but it isn´t possible to start the engines. I follow exactly the tutorial but the engines only spool up and then shut down again. Even with the shortcut shift+E or the sub menu "ready for taxi" nothing happend. It is impossible to bring the engines to life.

	Is there a solution?

	Hi!

I'm an FSX user and I've just bought this aircraft. My previous most complicated aircraft was the A2A 172 so I'm now a little lost with the autopilot and flight director in the DO228. I've searched around unsuccessfully for documentation. Does anyone know of any or videos or anything (note of desperation creeps into voice). I found the original Pilots Handbook for the real a/c but it has no mention of those areas.

Otherwise it'll be trial and error for me :)

I'm looking to use this in Air Hauler 2 when I buy it (soon) along with the 172. First I thought I'd try to get at least half competent at flying these in instrument conditions.

	Cheers!

	Chris.

I was hoping that somebody could paint some liveries for the Do228? Interestingly, it seemed to have been used as a commuter airliner in the 80s and 90s before being relegated to less mainstream roles nowadays. I'd love to see Northwest Airlink (both red and grey/white) and Midway Connect liveries. Not many images are available through google but each livery has many pictures on airliners.net. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm looking for a bit of advice about how to set tings up for landing the D228. I start out OK, the plane follows takes off and follows the flightpath but I seem to be doing something wrong in terms of capturing the localiser when I reach the initial fix. Before reaching that, I set up the Localiser frequency in the Garmin and on the radio console and then shift change GPS to Vloc on reaching the FAP. Am I doing this wrong (which I think I must be) and if so what should I be doing? Any help gratefully received.

	I didn't fly the Do228 for a while.

Now, after upgrading to P3Dv4.5 HF1 and using the latest installer, the Pilot's yoke doesn't show. When clicking the spots on the yoke's bases on the floor, it shows for a second and then hides again.

I only find "Hide Pilot's Yoke" click spots, no un-hide or show yoke spots.

The right seat yoke is working correctly.

Anybody can confirm the Do228 is working in P3dv4.5 and does not show this problem regularly?

There has been a case lately about adding some lines and figures to [TurbineEngineData] in the aircfaft.cfg file, to make the engine start more like a turboprop aircraft. I have heard that the values have changed the Carenado SF340 to a more realistic turboprop. I have tried to add these lines and values to Do 228 aircraft.cfg, but not with a good result. The throttle act weird, and I think the reason is that the values must be changed for each aircraft. Does anyone have changed values for Do 228?

Hi,

I noticed in FSX:SE that the elevator trim indicator in the DO228-100 indicates the opposite of what it should do, but only when the pilot instrument lights are switched on. I.e., when I trim up, the indicator indicates trimming down (while the plane actually is trimming up). When the pilot instrument lights are switched off, everything is normal again.

Am I the only one noticing such behaviour?

Still working through the new purchase kinks but I've definitely noticed an odd issue with taxi speed. Using FSUIPC's (paid version) friction LUA, with zero power I'll immediately begin rolling at 2-8 kts ground speed the moment I release the brakes. Yet if I apply power, I won't increase that speed until north of 35% torque.

I've found that if I have the propeller set to as little power as possible (definitely south of 10%) I can get it under control but it's very mysterious as none of my other turboprop Carenado aircraft do this.

Suggestions? Recommendations? Similar experiences?
