	I purchased the Alabeo PA-23 Aztec 250 - F last night, and noticed after the aircraft is loaded in FSX-SE the engines would die. Both mixture control handles would return to cut-off position. I tried to recalibrate the controls through FSX, but still nothing. Any solutions? Oh I also reached out to Alabeo support. Nothing yet.

	Many weeks ago, it seems, there was an announcement from Alabeo/Carenado that all their planes were P3DV5 ready, so I went off and downloaded the new installers. The Shrike and the PA23 Aztec both display the transparent VC.

<p>
	Anyone have these working in V5? Or ideas? The Navajo, Chieftain, and many others from these folks are fine.

	The bug that I found is that the CHT temperature it's tied to the Left engine. Start the left engine and both CHT raises, the right engine don't have CHT lecture if start this engine. Only the Left, have both temperatures.

<p>
	Can someone one take a look to this?  I don't know if this bug have already submitted to Alabeo people.

<p>Contacted Alabeo regarding the Stormscope not appearing to actually do anything in P3D V3. Tried it in a major thunderstorm, with and without ASN, what gives? I was told it works for us, check ADMIN rights etc, etc. etc. Replied I have allready done that and what system did you test with or better yet please post a video on the web site of it working.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Their reply was well it does works for us in FSX and P3D but the problem is with V3. How about just stating it does not work in your version in the first place? It took four replies to get them to say it is a V3 problem.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>In the meantime I will put an inop sticker on the gauge.</p>

	Installed the new compatible version into P3DV4, works well (so far) but throws up quite a few contenterrors :(

<p>
	Some sloppy changes to the CFG files, missing INOP images in the gauges, bad code in the GPS XML and most seriously

<p>
	Looks like it installed both 32 and 64 bit versions of CMeteo but put the wrong one into dll.xml

<p>
	I've edited dll.xml to use the 64bit version, will see what that does.

<p>
	I know cmeteo drives the weather radar, does it do anything else?<br />
	Seem to remember it has a validation role too...

	Since installing the Aztec I've had an instance of the sim time slipping forward 6 hours, don't know if its related...

<p>For anyone besides myself that's a huge fan of Shockwave's 3D Redux Lights here are the coordinates for them.  I've only included the landing and strobe position lights.  The rotating beacon as well as nav lights, in my opinion, aren't too bad. The strobe lights however were weak at best.  I've already contacted Alabeo and notified them that there is a bug with the taxi light since it only works dependently of the landing lights which is incorrect.  Hopefully they'll have a fix for this in an upcoming patch. As always, make sure you back up your original  just in case you want to go back to it. I've attached two screenshots. One over Darrington at night and the other departing Rwy 33 at Harvey.</p>

<p>I'm having lots of fun with this aircraft. </p>
<p>I've been able to assign feathering to the stops on my twin Saitek proplevers, and they work <img src="https://www.avsim.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" alt=";)" data-src="//bucket-classabb4b6de-f0f3-41fc-b42f-e9776c8572d8.avsim.com/wink.gif"></p>
<p>I've installed Ray's fabulous black cockpit texture (so it matches my homebuild cockpit).</p>
<p>I've added some nice switch sounds from the AVSIM library (Cockpitsounds).</p>
<p>And because the Aztec engine sounds, although nice, are a little bit lacking in bass, they don't work well with my Buttkicker vibration device, and so (sacrillege, probably) I've swapped over the bassier engine sounds from the Milviz Baron B55. </p>
<p>In all I'm powering around the Caribbean with this beauty and I just don't want to fly anything else. </p>
<p> </p>
<p>One question, though, trying both native FSX control assignments and FSUIPC,I cannot get any button or keyboard switch to assign for the crossfeed controls. I'm really struggling with it, which is a shame, beecause I can cut an engine, feather a prrop and practice all kinds of single-engined manoeuvres, but without a crossfeed assignment I'm a bit stuck. (As I said I have a home cockpit build and don't like to use the VC if at all possible). </p>
<p> </p>
<p>Any help appreciated!</p>
