For those who want to fly this plane with an RXP GTN 750 + GNS 430, I can offer up some AP mods etc.

	Also read the Gear Warning Fixed topic to the bottom. Why Alabeo has not fixed this obvious problem is beyond me..

	I read the other postings and since I have almost all the Alabeo and Carenado aircraft I figured I would look up one that uses the warning sound and how it is set up. I only tested this once at KFHR and was to excited to wait and post. IF I made a mistake I will repost with a fix.

	[gear_warning_system] THIS IS THE CHANGE I MADE TO THE SARATOGA AND SEEMS TO WORK
gear_warning_available=1
//pct_throttle_limit=0.35 original
pct_throttle_limit=0.15 //Percent throttle that activates warning
flap_limit_power=41 //Flap angle that activates warning at idle
flap_limit_idle=0 //Flap angle that activates warning at above idle
reference used from alabeo M20 mooney

	//Percent... //Flap....and //Flap were written on the M20 mooney WHICH explains WHAT it does. The flap_limit power was one number past the last flap setting. I raised the landing gear with flaps at first setting and the warning came back on coming into KFHR. I put the landing gear down and it went off. When landed there was no warning again. I powered to idle on taxi and no warning sound.

	This is the Saratoga flap settings note: last setting is position 3 @ 40 so I put down 41. I will post the M20 mooney setttings so if you do not own it you can see it.

	Do all the trim control surfaces work on the Saratoga? I had an old Carenado or Alabeo plane in which the elevator trim animation was non existent (it might have been the Cessna182RG). That plane really soured me on Alabeo and Carenado products. It made me understand why people complained about Carenado or Alabeo products. Thanks.

I have a problem in my Saratoga the autopilot does not respond when i am selecting the VS function (i put any positive or negative value but not working sometimes i cannot put any value at all) , while the HDG switch seems to work normally. I did not have this problem in the beginning, after 3-4 flights i am unable to control the trim through the autopilot. Any help appreciated.

Hello,

i fly the PA32 Saratoga II TC in P3D v3.3.5 and i wonder, that the mouse pointer in every view is always "aktive". If i point the mouse over a knob in VC, it works fine. But if the mouse-pointer is somewhere else on the screen, it stays "active"!

So it is impossible to make a right-klick somewhere on the screen, for eg. to change the view. No matter if i am in the virtual cockpit or in the outside view, the mouse-pointer is always "aktiv". Everything works fine, but it bothers me, that i can't use a right-klick on the screen to get into the P3D-Menu.

Can someone confirm this condition? Is that a bug? Has someone a solution to fix that?

Anyone know the purposes of these switches below the GPS unit?

EDIT: Did some Googleing and evidently the TKS switch is for the anti-ice system and the GND CLEAR stands for ground clearance and allows you to turn on the COM1 radio without having to fire up the whole avionics bus. BTW, the GND CLEAR isn't functional it seems and probably not the TKS either.

I recently bought Flight1's GTN750 with the intention to use it with A2A's great C182. Unfortunately, this combination turned ou to be a real frame hog (C182 with GTN750 shows a 20 to 30% frame drop compared to default GPS or RXP530). It might have something to do with A2A's 3D modelling of the GTN750 frame and will hopefully be solved. Anyway, I gave Alabeo's new PA32 a try and this is a great experience. The PA32, as greatly described in detail in Avsim's recent review, is a really charming GA airplane! It looks great and it flies great! And above all it works perfectly with the GTN750 ... without significant FPS loss compared to the default GPS.

The only little drawback so far: With the current GTN750 integration you loose the DME function (not simulated in the GTN750 ...). In order to overcome this lack I replaced the now needless transponder unit wit the FSX default DME unit. It doesn't look great but it works. Maybe somebody has a link to a better looking DME unit for FSX?

I bought it because I really like the GTN 750 - this is all from P3D btw

All around for 30 bucks its decent. I like how it handles. It's not a super fast single but it could carry a few bodies and luggage far away and at high altitudes. I did a short flight at lower level cruise (6000) and got about 167 ktas at best power (well 80% per the manua; - 32" 2400rpm, leaned). Since it is TCed it will go a lot higher and I think this plane typically would be a long hauler type with O2 onboard. Anyway it flies well.

At night and day it looks pretty well. Typical Carenado flood interior lighting with one switch for alphanumerics backlighting. There's blue OH lighting as well. In the daytime there's a nice gauge reflection at certain angles, gives the panel depth. There's not really "systems depth" but I didn't expect much, this being from Alabeo. I kinda hoped it was 25 bucks but inflation I guess lol! I do use the GTN 750 installed - the nav2 is carenado's default-based 430 gauge. There's no DME which I had hoped they'd put in. (I requested one because unlike the RXP 530W which will display distance and radial from a VOR tuned to NAV1, the GTN750 doesn't have this feature. Apparently the word on the street is that Garmin forgot to transfer the feature from their old 530 and a new hardware update will happen for RW users at some point with this very feature. I doubt we'll see it in the F1 version but maybe! Anyway for now I tune the carenado GNS430 to a VOR if I need distance info).

The sounds, IMHO, are not a strong point. They sound muffled and fake inside and out. I guess the exterior idle sounds decent but at full power the exterior sounds like default piston of some sort. I'm not at all familiar with this engine in real life so maybe it's accurate. Still muffled outside at times though. Interior is pretty bad and I wish they modeled ANR headsets like A2A does - where you click the headphone jack that's really nice.

There appears to be a aural checklist on the main panel but it doesn't work. I remember something like this unit in the old FS2002 F1 Meridian. The Orbx Lancair IV-P also has it (and it works too). The engine monitor panel works in general... you can rotate through the various functions with the knob. Autopilot operation is pretty much typical Carenado (hate it or like it hehe). The transponder zero issue has finally been fixed (for a while they were using the same gauge code over and over - anytime user entered a zero digit there was a blank space hehe). There's a weeping wing anti ice switch, pitot heat of course. There's labels for stormscope but not a unit in the panel lol. There's A/C at the far far right panel. Fuel usage says LEFT and RIGHT but both tanks are running out at the same rate. Must be the old "BOTH" bug leftover from my default aircraft flight.

And the TAS calc does sort of work - it's not as nice as the Realair Legacy or Dukes but it works you just can't accurately set the dial - it's more like +/- 2 degrees.
