Hi all,

Did I make a mistake when updating/downloading my C172RG Cutlass for Prepar3D v4 ? The FuelFlow and RadioDME gauge are INOP, confirmed by the contenterror.txt :

Some other issue as well with the clock and Radio_KR87. Other C172RG customer can check their contenterror.txt on Prepar3Dv4 to see if you have the same error ?

Remark : its hard to know the version, but the .exe (ALC172RGX.exe) installer date is 06/19/2017 (downloaded from Alabeo web site with a new serial).

Hi,

I would like to remove and re-install this aircraft in an effort to resolve a minor issue I'm having with it. Regardless of whether or not this will cure my issue, I can't seem to find this add-on in my Windows 7 x64 program manager or indeed using the CCleaner un-installer tool I occasionally use. It's definitely installed though. I can see other Alabeo products such as the C207 and the DA42. I bought the product from Just Flight, so not sure if it has anything to do with having a Just Flight wrapper...? As far as I can see, there are 5 PDF documents that came with the aircraft but these are related to the aircraft's procedures, performance etc. plus Alabeo's copyright info. I also checked my Windows 'Start Menu' for an Alabeo C172RG folder hoping to find an uninstall icon in there - but sadly there wasn't even such a folder. Can anyone help?

I'm using Prepar3D v2.5 and Windows 7. My installation is on a dedicated drive (i.e. not C:/Program Files...etc)

Regards,

Andy

Hi all. Great little plane!

Wondering what the proper load/start should be. I know some planes prefer to be loaded as something simple then switched after loading to the proper aircraft and others you can load straight away from the FSX main menu.

My issue is I find the Cutlass has power problems if I start it myself. Either loading the ultralight then switching and starting the engine myself or if I load the cutlass directly and shut down the restart produce the same results. Plane flies Ok but can't get over 60 knots climbing at 2700 or 90 knots at cruise.

Decided to try for the heck of it just loading cutlass directly from menu and take off with the engine running as it had loaded. Huge difference. Easily getting 75 knots climbing and over 100 cruising.

So basically curious what is best way to load cutlass and if anyone has any ideas about less power after doing my own start.

Thanks!

Alabeo makes a great product and I am glad I purchased the Cutlas. The bugs right off the bat are:

1. The knob for the #1 com radio turns the frequency for the active not the in-active.

2. Flying in icing or close to icing conditions carberator icing takes place way too quickly. Have to fly with the carberator heat on at all condtions of flight. As a real pilot I haver never experienced winter flying where I had to fly with carb heat on at all times. Even at high RPMs.

Thank you Alabeo for offeirng a nice product. I look forward to the service release that fixes these issues.
