	Hi folks,
</p>

<p>
	since the update from PMDg to the Operation Center 3 I have the problem that I can start the Linda software normally and also load the PMDG 777 (module 1.5a - Aug 2020) normally... But nothing happens in the cockpit.
</p>

<p>
	This means that I can program all switches (EFIS + Panel Switch + Landing Gear + Throttle ) via the Linda software... but it does not trigger any action in the cockpit. If I press the WXR button on my EFIS panel (from FlightsimPm)... I can see the action in the software (button for the assignment is displayed) but this is not implemented and displayed in the cockpit.
</p>

<p>
	And unfortunately this is the case with all buttons and switches...
</p>

<p>
	Does anyone else have this problem?
</p>

<p>
	Since the PMDG OC 3, the planes are installed via the Center.
</p>

<p>
	Best Regards
</p>

<p>
	Stephan

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	The<span> </span><strong>old NGX<span> </span></strong>and the<span> </span><strong>new NGXu</strong><span> </span>will not work together if both modules are activated!
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Both addons can remain installed, but you have to make sure, that only one LINDA module is active!
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Two ways:
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	1)<span> </span><strong>copy the LINDA module<span> </span></strong>you do not currently use away before flight
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	or
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	2) rename the"<span> </span><strong>ident.lua</strong>" in the module you do not wish to use to sth. like "ident.luaoff" or similar.
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	"ident.lua" can be found here: Prepar3D v4\Modules\linda\aircrafts\PMDG 737 NGX(u)
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<em>hint: users of simStarter could make easily two profiles for the NGX and the NGXu which could be then rename or copy the files/folders via simStarters Start Manager. For more information have a look into the simStarter manual.</em>
</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	To install the module:
</p>

<ol style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		Download and expand the zip file into a suitable accessible location (ie. desktop).

	Having big time to make Linda work, beside other issue not related to this thread, I am trying to download the Aircraft Module for PMDG 737ngx, I found many links and I believe the latest is since 2022.<br />
	All these links point to awginfosys.net/blablablafilenamebla which always return as 404. How or where to download these modules?<br />
	Thank you for your time!

</p>

<p>

</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	This module is provides most of the important functions for buttons, knobs and switches for the FSLabs A319X, A320X, A321X and new A320SL and A321SL (Sharklet) variants.  It has been tested with the LINDA 3.3, P3Dv5.3 HF1 and FSUIPC 6.1.7.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	This update adds partial implementation of the VRInsight Combo 2 MCP(Boeing) and FCU(Airbus) displays based on the latest FSL Hardware Interface information.<span> </span><em>It does not work with the original MCP1 panel.<span> </span></em>The following items are not implemented:
</p>

<ul style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		Speed Managed Mode dot.
	</li>
	<li>
		Altitude Managed Mode dot.
	</li>
	<li>
		Vertical Speed input and display.
	</li>
	<li>
		Speed Mach input does not display correct mach number until released.
	</li>
	<li>
		FPA Heading input does not include magnetic variation (reads course only).
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>IMPORTANT = This module has been renamed to FSLabs A3xx to allow it to work with all variants. You will need to copy your existing config-hid.lua and config-mcpX.lua files from the /modules/linda-cfg/FSLabs A320X/ folder to /modules/linda-cfg/FSLabs A3xx/ folder.</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	A list of all available functions is contained in the download. <strong>NOTE: Some functions have been renamed and reorganised to avoid confusion and allow the pop up menus to be displayed on screen.</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Installation</strong>:
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Use the Aircraft Module installation functionality on the Maintenance page of LINDA 3.2.x. Alternatively, manually copy the content of this archive in your /FSUIPC6 folder.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Your current configurations will not be overwritten, but always make a backup before starting.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>With this version you need all 4 MCRO files to make the overhead switches work!</strong> The MCRO are part of the download. Copy these file into you /FSUIPC6 folder. They cover only the majority overhead and pedestals buttons (Fuel pumps, battery, master caution, APU, MDCU).
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	This module has been developed for use with the<span> </span><strong><em>Fenix Airbus A3200 </em></strong>running on MSFS 2020.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	The module requires use with<span> </span><strong><a href="https://dev.avsim.com/forums/topic/583434-linda-414-msfs-2020-compatible-1-mar-2022/" rel="" style="background-color:transparent;">LINDA 4.1.4</a></strong><span> </span>and<span> </span><strong><a href="http://fsuipc.com" rel="external nofollow" style="background-color:transparent;">FSUIPC7 7.3.6</a></strong> or later. See Note below on Lvars.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Due to delays with MSFS exposing Lvars to FSUIPC7 on start-up, it is strongly recommended that you start MSFS2020, load the Fenix A320 ready to fly and wait a minute before starting FSUIPC7 and LINDA. It is also recommended to click Restart LUA Engine as the last thing.</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	A full list of functions is provided via the link below. Default configuration setup files are provided for all VRi MCP panels and CDU2/3. However, no testing has been possible on the MCP1 (Original) panel and no guarantees can be given.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

	</li>
	<li>
		Fixed Autobrake functionality
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Due to limitations in the available interface it is not possible for the VRI FCU Speed, Heading or Vertical Speed to be displayed; the Altitude provides limited synchronous display provided Alt Step left on 1000ft. </strong>The FCU Knobs are not animated but functions are provided for rotation, push and pull.
</p>

<p style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
	The module makes use of a number of extra features provided by FSUIPC7 including WAPI/WASM. These features allow LINDA to access the Lvars and offsets as well Hvar and .EVT events. Users will need to make several changes to their set up to fully exploit these features.
</p>

<ul style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
		Edit FSUIPC-WASM.INI to add the entry<span> </span><strong>LvarScanDelay=x</strong> where x is 45 or 60. See FSUIPC7 Advanced User document pg 45.
	</li>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	This module has been developed for use with the<span> </span><strong><em>FlyByWire Airbus A32NX Neo</em></strong><span> </span>running on MSFS 2022. Special thanks to Joe Herwig for his inspiration, initial design and project management for this work.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	The module requires use with<span> </span><strong><a href="https://dev.avsim.com/forums/topic/583434-linda-414-msfs-2020-compatible-1-mar-2022/" rel="" style="background-color:transparent;">LINDA 4.1.4</a></strong><span> </span>and<span> </span><strong><a href="http://fsuipc.com" rel="external nofollow" style="background-color:transparent;">FSUIPC7 7.3.2</a></strong><span> </span>or later. It can be used with the Stable (0.7.4), Development and Experimental version from FlyByWire (using the FlyByWire Installer). However, some features are only accessible via the latest Development and Experimental releases. See Note below on Lvars.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Due to delays with MSFS exposing Lvars to FSUIPC7 on start-up, it is strongly recommended that you start MSFS2020, load the FBW A32NX ready to fly and wait a minute before starting FSUIPC7 and LINDA. It is also recommended to click Restart LUA Engine as the last thing.</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Users of previous beta release are advised that a major renaming exercise has been carried out. All functions have been named according to the panel and sub-panel positions plus the role and action. For example,<span> </span><em>A32nx_OVHD_EXTLT_BEACON_toggle</em><span> </span>for Overhead Panel, External Lights and Beacon Lights. Users should check all button assignments and reassign as required. A full list of functions is provided via the link below. Default configuration setup files are provided for all VRi MCP panels and CDU2/3.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Version 1.0.3 includes the following changes:
</p>

<ul style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		Rework Transponder/TCAS Switches
	</li>
	<li>
		Fixed InitCustomEvents() operation
	</li>
	<li>
		Added Overhead Crew Only Supply Button
	</li>
	<li>
		Fixed Landing Lights not illuminating
	</li>
	<li>
		Improved VRi FCU Altitude INC/DEC
	</li>
	<li>
		Added Radar PWS Switch
	</li>
	<li>
		Fixed error in VRi FCU Altitude DEC
	</li>
	<li>
		Added missing VRI FCU DspShow calls
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	Development work is ongoing by FlyByWire and every effort will be made to ensure the module supports any updates. At the time of issue, there is one issue outstanding:
</p>

<ul style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li>
		<p style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
			There is an Issue with MSFS ATC AI which resets the COM1 frequency if changed. It is necessary to turn off ATC AI option as follows: in MSFS go to Assistance Options and Piloting. Turn off AI Radio Comms (ATC).
		</p>
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
	The module makes use of a number of extra features provide by FSUIPC7 including WAPI/WASM. These features allow LINDA to access the Lvars and offsets as well Hvar and .EVT events. Users will need to make several changes to their set up to fully exploit these features.
</p>

<ul style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<li style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
		Edit FSUIPC-WASM.INI to add the entry<span> </span><strong>LvarScanDelay=x</strong> where x is 45 or 60. See FSUIPC7 Advanced User document pg 45.
	</li>
	<li style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
		Edit FSUIPC7.INI to add the entry <strong>UseAirLocForProfiles=Yes</strong> under the [General] block.
	</li>
	<li style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
		Ensure block<span> </span><strong>[WAPI] / EnableWAPI=Yes</strong> is present in FSUIPC7.INI.
	</li>
</ul>

<p style="color:#24292f;font-size:14px;">
	The FBW A32NX should display around 1450 to 1500 Lvars and 220 Hvars. Any value different from these or the warning will require that MSFS and FSUIPC7/LINDA be restarted.
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

	<strong>NOTE ON LVARS</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	The FBW project is developing all the time with new functionality being continuously added. This means the data used to access the model is also changing with new Lvars being introduced. There are normally in excess of 1300 Lvars used to interface with the A32NX and this can be checked by clicking on the LINDA Tracer link (top left). If you are only seeing around 1000 Lvars not all functionality will be working and some errors may be generated (see LINDA Console or FSUIPC7.log). It is recommended that you try installing the Development or Experimental versions and restart everything.<br />

</p>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<span>F:/FSUIPC6</span>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<span>You can tick both P3Dv5 and P3Dv4 boxes during the FSUIPC6 installation. There should also be a folder /FSUIPC6 in the Prepar3d v5 add-ons/ folder containing a single add-ons.xml file directed at the installed folder.</span>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<span>Un-zip the folder and copy all files and folders into the above folder created above. Answer Yes to all overwrite requests and tick the apply to all boxes.<span> </span></span>

</ul>

<p style="color:#353c41;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>It is not compatible with other flight simulators (FSX or P3D) or earlier versions of FSUIPC.</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	This version provides most functionality with MSFS 2020 and FSUIPC7. Those aircraft that use the WASM interface providing access to Lvars and Hvars, most notably the<span> </span><em><strong>FlyByWire A32NX</strong></em>. <strong>For</strong><strong> most other aircraft o</strong><strong>nly LINDA default MSFS library functions can be used</strong>. Most original FSX Controls and FSUIPC offsets are available. The Tracer can be used to monitor and modify Lvars values as with previous releases. This version offers ability to trigger Hvars and Events as well as FSUIPC Controls.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	A new indication has been added to show when LINDA has completed reloading the LUA engine. This appears below the<span> </span><em>Sync-to-Sim</em><span> </span>-<span> </span><strong>WAIT</strong><span> </span>while reloading and<span> </span><strong>READY</strong> when done. No buttons should be operated until READY is displayed. Previously this was shown on screen but this causes complications with MSFS.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<b>Ensure that MSFS 2020 is updated to latest release (1.21.18.0 or later) and FSUIPC7 (7.3.6 or later). </b>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	LINDA provides full compatibility with all variants of the VRInsight Combo panel: the original MCP1, the Combo II MPC (Boeing) and Combo FCU (Airbus), the VRInsight CDU2/CDU3, and the Logitech/Saitek Flight Panels.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<u><em>Please download and read the Release Notes below.</em></u>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<b>IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VRINSIGHT USERS </b>LINDA 4.0.x now starts with the MCP Display Mode set by the new Mode option on the Setup MCP Combo page. It defaults to Autopilot display mode (AP values for SPD/HDG/ALT/VS are displayed). The Information display mode displays the aircraft current speed, heading, altitude and vertical speed. You need to assign one of the VRInsight library DSPmode functions to switch between INFO and AP (autopilot) modes.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	All bug and issues should be reported on the project thread on the<span> </span><b>LINDA Support sub-forum</b>.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<b>Installation</b>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	Unzip the file. Install FSUIPC7 in a root directory and copy the LINDA files and folders into that folder.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	The correct installation should look like:
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<i>/FSUIPC7</i>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong><em>/linda</em></strong>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong><em>/linda-cfg</em></strong>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<em>FSUIPC7.exe</em>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<em>FSUIPC7.ini</em>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<em>FSUIPC7.key</em>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong><em>ipcReady.lua</em></strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong><em>linda.exe</em></strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong><em>linda.lua</em></strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	<strong>Starting MSFS, FSUIPC7 and LINDA</strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	I have found that the order users start the applications is important to get everything working correctly.<span> </span><strong>Note there is a delay after starting MSFS before the Lvars and Hvars are accessible.<span> </span><em>Users are referred to the FSUIPC7 for Advanced Users documentation regarding the use of LvarScanDelay= entry for FSUIPC_WASM.INI file. A delay of 45-60 seconds is recommended.</em> <u>It may be necessary to Reload LUA Engine after a couple of minutes.</u></strong>
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	Start MSFS and LINDA first in any order. Once MSFS is running in cockpit mode then start FSUIPC7 ensuring that it displays the title 'FSUIPC7: Simulator is available: Connected". If not Connected, either click on Start/Connect or Options/Auto-connect to FS. LINDA should be Sync-ed to Sim and displaying *MSFS Default" outline in orange. The LINDA LUA engine will automatically restart when the connection is established.
</p>

<p style="color:#000000;font-size:14px;">
	FSUIPC7 runs initially in the System Tray. You need to right-click on icon and click Show for the window to be displayed. After you close the FSUIPC7 window you need to Exit the application in the System Tray.

	I would like to know if LINDA can modify the display of the "communications" screen present on the VRInsight MCP Combo I (boeing).
</p>

<p>
	At present, the radio communications format is 122.80, but many frequencies have the 122.805 format. Is it possible to change the initial display to the second format?<br />
	If this is not possible via LINDA, does anyone know if there is a solution?
</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance for your help,<br />

<p>
	Does anyone have these 2 pieces of equipment working? Im having lots of issues with fbw and may make the jump to pmdg. Ive owned them in the past and things worked well.
</p>

<p>
	The best experience for cdu 2 and mcp combo was with the leveld 767.
</p>

<p>
	Before making the plunge as money is involved for pmdg, id like to hear more about success stories. Its very limited for mcp 1 and the cdu 2 with screen.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thank you
